What this guide covers
The Teams tab in Settings defines who works together and how NidusCore routes notifications and approvals by default.
Teams and rosters
For each team you can:
- Name the team and manage members
- Assign team leads with lead roles
- Configure shift member scope (which members a lead can manage on shift logs)
- Set request approval scope for team away/time-off requests
Teams are also used when assigning work on projects, estimates, and media requests.
Default teams by workflow
At the bottom of the Teams tab, configure business defaults:

| Estimate team | Pre-selects assignees when creating estimates; optional leads only filter |
| Project team | Default project assignment group |
| Media & Design team | Default media request routing |
| Invoicing task team | Who receives queued invoicing tasks |
Each default supports team leads only mode when you want notifications limited to leads rather than the full roster.
Email notification recipients
Per event type, choose which memberships receive system emails (in addition to workflow-specific recipients). Events include estimate approvals, task assignments, and other business notifications configured for your tenant.
