Approving or rejecting an estimate

Review estimate details and approve or reject estimates waiting for your decision.

What this guide covers

Before you start

  • The estimate must be in Pending Client Approval status.
  • You need permission to view pricing if the estimate includes amounts. Some contacts see scope without dollar totals.

Steps

  1. Open the estimate

    From Estimates or the dashboard, open an estimate that awaits your approval.

  2. Review line items and terms

    Read scope, quantities, and any notes from the business. Use tabs or sections on the detail page to review everything before deciding.

  3. Approve or reject

    Choose Approve & Sign or Reject. Approval may require confirming checkboxes and typing your name as an electronic signature.

  4. Confirm your decision

    Submit the form. The business is notified of your decision. Approved estimates may generate a signed PDF on the business side.
