My invitation or estimate link expired

What to do when a client portal or estimate review link no longer works.

What this guide covers

Invitation and estimate review links use time-limited tokens for security. After they expire, the URL stops working even if you previously opened it successfully.

  1. Request a new invitation

    Ask the business to resend your client portal invite from your client contact record.

  2. Set your password promptly

    Open new invitation links soon after they arrive to avoid expiration.

  3. Log in if you already completed setup

    If you previously set a password, use Log in at /login instead of an old invite link.

Estimate emails include review links that also expire (typically after several days). If a link fails:

  • Log in to the portal and open Estimates manually, or
  • Ask the business to resend the estimate for approval
