Invoicing, queued invoices, and accounting software

Configure client invoicing automation, review queued invoices, and connect QuickBooks Desktop.

Last updated May 21, 2026

What this guide covers

These tabs connect NidusCore operational data to client invoicing and external accounting exports.

Invoicing tab

Configure how client invoices are generated from approved work:

  • Invoicing task routing (often tied to default invoicing team in Settings → Teams)
  • Rules for what triggers invoice creation
  • Template and delivery settings available to your role

When automation creates work, tasks may appear for the invoicing team before invoices are sent.

Queued invoices

Queued Invoices lists invoice jobs waiting for generation, review, or send. Use this queue during month-end to clear backlog before closing periods.

Software tab (QuickBooks Desktop)

For QuickBooks Desktop integrations:

  1. Download/generate the connection file from NidusCore
  2. Install/configure the QB Web Connector (or supported sync path for your deployment)
  3. Map items, tax codes, and accounts to NidusCore categories and products
  4. Monitor the export queue for failed sync rows and retry as needed

Mappings tie expense categories, products, and tax rates to QB lists. Keep names stable after initial mapping — renaming on either side can break exports until remapped.
